          Animal Farm is an allegorical story leading up to the Russian Revolution of 1917. In animal farm there are suppose to represent people in the revolution and common situations that lead to it.

      The pigs control the animals by giving orders to the rest of the animals as far as labor while the pigs supervise. The pigs change the commandments to benefit themselves and make the other animals work around it.
